An Oregonian since the age of five, I make my home in the gorgeous city of Portland with my college-sweetheart husband of nineteen years, my two children, ages fourteen and eleven, and two toy poodles who think they run the household. My family and I spent two years living overseas in Hong Kong for my husband's job, a life-changing, culturally challenging adventure I will never forget. When I'm not writing, I enjoy reading (of course!), crafting, spending time at my family's vacation home on the Oregon coast, and going to my daughter's soccer games and son's baseball games.

Having discovered my love for writing after my college years, I have a business degree from The University of Oregon and worked in the printing industry until my first child was two. I then traded my career for full-time motherhood. When my second child arrived, I needed an outlet from diapers and strollers. With my love of romance novels in mind, I sat down and started typing. My first novel, a terribly melodramatic historical romance that never sold, was written at my makeshift office in the dining room during nap times. A few years later I joined Romance Writers of America, found my fantastic and faithful critique group, and decided to try my hand at writing series contemporary romance. My first effort didn't sell, but my second, started while living in Hong Kong, did. Finally, my dream had come true--writing romance novels with that wonderful, happily-ever-after ending every romance reader loves.
