Bio

I decided I wanted to be a published author at the ripe old age of twelve.  When a neighbor gave me a box of old romance novels when I was fourteen, I quickly decided romance was my favorite genre, although I really enjoy digging into a good medical thriller now and then, too.

I attended University of Oregon, and graduated with a degree in Business Management, letting my practical side call the shots. When my youngest child was still in diapers and I was a stay-at-home-mom, I decided I needed a break from strollers and runny noses, so I sat down and started crafting a romance.  Nine years later, in 2001, I sold my first book, fulfilling my childhood dream.  I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I love, and will write until my fingers quit working, or I run out of heartwarming stories to tell.   I'm betting the fingers will go first!

I live in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon with my wonderful husband of twenty-eight years, a grown daughter and college-aged son, and two bossy poodles who rule the house and get away with it.  When I'm not reading, I enjoy crafting, bargain hunting, trip planning, cooking and decorating.
